Here’s a tutorial I made recreating all 23 Instagram Filters in Lightroom as Presets and Camera Profiles
Here’s a social media post I made for Alpha Warrior featuring Alpha Warrior Pro and Head Strength & Conditioning coach at OU, Bennie Wylie.
Roll back time 10 years, I’m a freshman in college at Texas A&M signing up on a 2 week waiting list for a laser cutter that is shared by the entire school. Now you’re telling me there’s a little product that can cut wood, fabric and vinyl. Where do I sign up?
Here. You sign up here. If you decide to make the leap into the world of 2d fabrication, consider using my affiliate link: https://amzn.to/2XP3xnK
Here’s a link to the heat press I’m buying: https://amzn.to/2KMQEqo

Stay tuned for all the projects I make with this bad boy. Wait do crickets have genders?
I recently bought a Sony a7 iii, and I love it. I’ve shot Canon for about 10 years but Sony is killing the game right now with their mirrorless cameras. The only lackluster part is the poor color science when it comes to handling skin tones. I spent a full week coming up with a preset that emulates canon skin colors on sony raw files. Check out the video here:
There’s a download link to the preset in the description of the YouTube video.
How to Professinally Whiten Teeth in Photoshop *NEW*
Stick around till the end of the video, the last few steps are really worth checking out even if you’re a seasoned Photoshop vet.
I made this poster for Kevin Klein, one of our celebrity athletes, and an all around great guy. It’s for a marketing campaign called Huddle Up, which gives an insight on all of our Alpha Warrior Pros.
Never in a million years did I think I would be behind the scenes, with a Pit Pass, at a Nascar event, shooting a car, that is sponsored by Alpha Warrior. Never say never because here we are. Enjoy these photos I snagged
Here are my favorite shots of the day
What’s the point of knowing Photoshop if you don’t use it to make fun of your friends? Anyways here’s Wonderwall.
Just slide with me. Come on, let me see ya take a walk with me. Sorry sorry, I can’t help but get Jiggy with it from time to time.
Here are a a few slides I made for the HR department today. One for our monthly Employee Appreciation luncheon:
And another one for our Healthcare Benefits meeting. These get displayed on all of the TVs around the company. I actually design them in Photoshop, then REDESIGN them in PowerPoint so the girls in HR can make changes to the dates and text each month.
Here is my first completed 3d print on my new Prusa mk3. Took 36 hours to print and probably another 6 hours to paint. This is the first time I’ve ever painted something like this and I love it.
Here are the descriptions I wrote for Alpha Warrior’s obstacles in a recent magazine. This particular course was designed for high school athletes so I tried to make the copy fit. (Insert meme of steve buscemi with a skateboard)
Just found this old t-shirt design I did for our company picnic that never saw the light of day…
Ok, I got to give myself props for that title 👏🏻
I made 13 different Sell Sheets for a food show coming up. Here’s an example of one:
Pretty clean design, I honestly just wanted to post this to use the title of the blog. For those of you not current on food distribution lingo, a c-store is short hand for convenience store, where conveniently our products are sold.
I was tasked with making a One Month Marketing Campaign for the different military bases around the US that would be hosting our Alpha event. First thing I did was:
Define Our Goal: Get people pumped about signing up and going to our event
Define Our Audience: General Participants, Elite Athletes, Kids & Family, and Spectators
I then created posts that targeted General Participants, the Elite Athletes, Kids & Family, as well as post to Build Hype/ Excitement and show off our celebrity athletes, and finally a call to action to Sign Up for our event.
Below is the online spreadsheet I sent out:
It includes the pictures and videos, as well as the messaging and hashtags to use. Some of the photos have blank spaces to insert dates, so I sent the font we use as well. If you're lazy and don't want to click the link here are some example posts:
I also threw in some GIFs and videos for good measure. Those can be found in the Excel sheet linked above.
A little late, but my friend Brian (the interviewer) and I traveled to PAX SOUTH with my RED camera a couple of years ago. We only spent around 4 hours total at the event, but had a pretty awesome time and I cut together this video. I would like to do more stuff like this but unfortunately Brian has an awesome job in Houston he doesn't want to quit...
Everything shot on a RED Epic, and audio recorded on our patent pending Don King microphone.
We have a tiny booth inside of a bigger booth at the NACS show this year. I was tasked with designing our signage. It was a little difficult given the angle of the graphics, but I made it work by throwing a large picture in there and used bare minimum text.
Used the same lighting set up to shoot a few baked goods today. Came out pretty good.
I tried a new lighting setup for some studio shots. It was mainly backlit with two bounces in front of the product The backlighting gave the product a little reflection in front, so no need to add one in post.
Longer update to follow, but on June 1st, 2018 Hill Country Bakery will be sold to FGF Brands. I was tasked to make a poster about the upcoming announcement meeting. And well, here it is:
I had the opportunity to meet the new owners, Ojus and Tejus Ajmera, today and after watching their presentation, I couldn't be happier with the way they want to grow and expand the bakery. They're both extremely smart and well spoken who are passionate about their business. I look forward to learning from them in the years to follow.
